The purpose of this appliance is to provide specialist rescue equipment and crews to an operational incident.
Equipment carried includes:

Large quantities of hydraulic rescue equipment

Pneumatic lifting units

Gas tight suits and decontamination showers

Radiation monitoring devices
-
Animal rescue equipment
-
Electrical and manual winching units and a large variety of general rescue and safety equipment.
There are currently 3 Emergency Tenders in service with the Norfolk Fire Service. These are stationed at Norwich, King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth.
