Prevention and Protection > Fire Safety> Be Safe with Fireworks

Having fireworks at home can be great fun, as long as they are used safely. Figures show more children rather than adults get hurt by fireworks and over the past five years over 350 pre-school children, some only a year old, were treated in hospital for fireworks injuries.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service wants you to be safe with fireworks, especially on November 5. We advise that, wherever possible, you attend an organised fireworks display.

If you are holding a bonfire night event at home then please click on the link below and follow the Firework Code.
