As well as covering the town of Hunstanton the station also provides emergency cover for the villages of Old Hunstanton, Holme, Thornham, Brancaster, Brancaster Staithe, Titchwell, Choseley, and Ringstead.

The station training night is on Tuesdays in between 1900 and 2100 hrs. The station responds to approx 140 emergency calls a year. Hunstanton station attends several stuctural fires during the year and has seen some large fires over the years including the recent Pier Entertainments complex and the fire at the former Kit Kat night club in 1998.

The 1 appliance based at Hunstanton Fire Station is a 1988 Mercedes Benz Water tender ladder. This carries equipment to deal with a wide range of emergency situations which includes an extensive set of Hydraulic rescue equipment to free trapped victims at road accidents. The vehicle also carries a thermal image camera which was financed by locally raised money in 1998.
