Residents from the Wymondham area have been in touch with Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service to say they have received calls from someone offering a Home Fire Risk Check on behalf of London Fire Brigade. The residents have been given a Freephone 0800 number to call. Unsurprisingly London Fire Brigade know nothing about this and nor does Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service.
Please be aware that neither Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service nor London Fire Brigade cold call and please do not let anyone into your home unless you are 100% sure of their authenticity.
