Women, ever wondered what being a firefighter is really like?
We are keen to encourage more women to successfully apply to become firefighters so we are holding a women only event on 28 November 2009. This is your opportunity to speak to operational firefighters who are female, learn about the recruitment process and try your skills at some of the physical tests.
While our current vacancies are limited to retained posts in specific areas this is a real chance to find out if this is the role for you. The day will be informative, and fun.
